For seven years two students - Je’lyn and Jade Brown have been bringing joy to children who need some good luck by organizing a toy drive. They have provided new toys and clothing to the Coachman Family Center homeless shelter, My Sisters Place Domestic violence shelter, Westchester Resource for Adoption Program and the Theodore Young Community Center. Despite the growing number of homeless and underserved families in Westchester their donors continue to meet the challenge to ensure that each child receives a new gift. They are asking for new unwrapped toys or clothing.

TONIGHT - the Town Board unanimously approved the 2016 budget and the sale of Frank's nursery to an assisted living facility. The budget complies with the tax cap (tax increase is slightly more than 1% in unincorporated Greenburgh and a half a percent in the villages). The entire budget will be posted on line (
