The Kiwanis Club of Hartsdale just celebrated its 59th year! The Club just became a Model Legacy Club for the Kiwanis International sponsored EliMiNaTe program. The Hartsdale Kiwanis pledged to raise funds for this project. Maternal and neonatal tetanus is a deadly disease that affects newbown mothers and their infants. The Hartsdale Kiwanis committed to raise over $17,000 and was given five years to meet this goal. The club met its goal in less than three years and has now attained Legacy Club status. Neo-natal tetanus is being eliminated with the help of Kiwanis programs world-wide.
