I, along with 1,000s of Greenburgh residents, received a disturbing letter from Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield stating that their organization would no longer cover services (absent emergency services) at Lawrence Hospital, Phelps Memorial, Northern Westchester or White Plains Hospital. This is clearly a negotiating tactic on someone’s part, but in the meanwhile constituents will suffer.
