BARNES & NOBLE TO CLOSE..WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CENTRAL AVE

I spoke to some employees at Barnes & Noble on Central Ave in Hartsdale today and was disappointed to learn from them that Barnes & Noble will not be renewing their lease at the end of the year. This book store was a nice community asset - used by many residents. The closing of this store comes just weeks after another popular store: the Fine Arts Movie Theater closed down.
I would welcome suggestions from residents as to action steps you think the town should take to make sure that Central Ave stays vibrant, with an interesting mixture of stores.
