GREENBURGH WINS LAWSUIT RE: LIBRARY ANNEXATION...PSC TO HOLD CON ED HEARING THURSDAY
Release Date: October 07, 2006

The lawsuit filed by the Village Elmsford against the Town alleging that the February 28, 1967, annexation of Village property for a Town Library was invalid, was dismissed by Supreme Court Judge Barbara Zambelli on October 5, 2006. In a three page decision, the Judge concluded that the statute of limitations on a challenge to the annexation expired four months after the Village Board of Trustees gave their consent.

The Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing at Greenburgh Town Hall this coming Thursday, October 12 at 2 PM regarding the recent Con Ed power outages. You are invited to testify --especially if you experienced power outages.
