Frank's nursery out...satellite library in..dog park to be located at E Rumbrook Park
Release Date: September 05, 2006

The Greenburgh Town Boarddecided to authorize the Town Boardto adopt a plan using several town owned properties as temporary satellite libraries during the construction of the new expanded library–which is estimated to take about 2 years. The Board unanimously rejected leasing space at Frank’s nursery as a temporary librarylocation. There were aspects of the lease that all the members of the Board found unacceptable.  This option is less expensive then leasing Frank’s.

The Town Boardagreed  during our work session to build a dog parkat E Rumbrook Park, a town park – instead of at RidgePark(a county park). The Board will approve a resolution at our September 13th Town Boardmeeting. The dog parkis expected to open up in October, 2007. NY State will be donating $43,000 for the park.
