You are invited…to join town officials on a community inspection/walk of Travis Park this Thursday, May 11^th at 7 PM. Travis Park is located on 16.57 acres. We received a Community Development Block grant of $187,500 to enhance the park. The town will support the project – spending about $62,500 of town resources on the enhancements. The improvements include but are not limited t replacing furnishings (benches, grills, tables, garbage cans), upgrade, replacement and expansion of playground equipment, plumbing and lighting improvements, replacement of Baseball and softball backstop, repair and replace fencing, recondition tennis courts, install safety devices for park equipment, resurface and widen existing walkway and construct an additional walkway throughout the park.
