GREENBURGH ENERGY CONSERVATION FAIR…The Town of Greenburgh will hold a Green Energy Fair on Saturday, May 13 from 10 amto 1 pmat GreenburghTown Hall, 177 Hillside Ave.We will kick the event off with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Town Hall’s new solar electric system. The Green energy fair will feature exhibitors and speakers to help residents learn about: saving energy, energy audits, solar energy, biodiesel fuel, hybrid vehicles, ride sharing programs, buying green power from clean sources such as wind and hydro, green building products and more. The Greenburgh Library is planning to take advantage of geothermal (earth energy) technology when they expand the library. Nikki Coddington, the regions first energy conservation coordinator, is organizing the event.

NEW RESIDENTS RECEPTION MAY 10…The Town will be sponsoring our annual new residents reception on Wednesday May 10th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM (before the Greenburgh Town Board meeting) at Greenburgh Town Hall. This is a good opportunity for new residents to learn about their town, to meet elected officials and department heads.
