You can save money on your electricity and gas bills by considering an  alternative to Con Ed. These alternatives are called ESCO. There are a number of ESCOs listed on the web site: www.poweryourway.com/pages/residential.html.  These ESCOs have indicated that they will supply electricity and gas to residential and small commercial customers.  Information about these companies is included on the Con Ed website as well.  YOU CAN SAVE $$$.

Last week, when I met with representatives of Con Ed, I was advised that some ESCOs might be willing to provide discounts for larger groups. Perhaps, we might want to set up a citizens task force to explore establishing a citizen’s co-op that can negotiate cheaper rates for Greenburgh residents/condo’s. With gas and electricity rates increasing  - - we should explore all options that can save residents money.
