Con ED TO SPEAK AT OCTOBER 24TH TOWN BOARD MEETING AND TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT GAS WORK Please be advised that Con Ed will meet with the Greenburgh Town Board and community on Wednesday evening, October 24th at 7:30 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall to discuss and answer questions relating to the Con Ed gas work at College Corners and around the town. They will also discuss gas work taking place around the town. You are invited to attend the meeting. Our meetings are also streamed live on the web:www.greenburghny.com . You can also watch the meeting on optimum channel 76 and Verizon channel 35. Roads are a mess during the Con Ed gas work. Con Ed is working all around town. Have received a number of complaints about road conditions in the College Corner section of town. There are other neighborhoods in unincorporated Greenburgh and in the villages where road work is being done. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO) At the meeting Con Ed representatives will discuss the gas infrastructure work they are doing, why it takes so long for road work to be completed. Repaving plans, how they select neighborhoods to do the work in, why the work is so important. Some people have complained to me that the roads are left in poor shape and they don't always see crews working. How come?
