A few weeks ago a national magazine contacted me about an interview I conducted with Dr. Ed Zuckerberg, father of Mark way back in 2011. They are doing some research in preparation for a story about the Zuckerberg family. I have a weekly radio show on WVOX radio and the interview with Dr. Zuckerberg was the first interview he gave about his son. I didn't make a copy of the tape. But, Alan Brody -a former resident of Greenburgh recently located the interview (his daughter was present during the interview--she was writing an article for the Scarsdale Inquirer). I sent the reporter the story, thanks to Alan's help. Here is the you tube video and two stories from 2011! Mark and his parents lived in Greenburgh--(village of Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley school district). Dr. Zuckerberg was a well liked dentist. Many constituents and some town employees used him as their dentist and mentioned how modest the family was.

It's interesting - especially since Facebook has been in the news this past week. Mark Zuckerberg is just one of many former Greenburgh residents who became national or international figures.
