SIGN PETITION CALLING ON NYS TO REPAVE STATE ROADS THEY OWN LOCATED IN GREENBURGH

INCLUDING SAW MILL RIVER ROAD NEAR DOWNTOWN ARDSLEY

Our college summer student interns are working on an initiative  inspecting NYS owned roads located in Greenburgh. Among the initiatives the interns are working on: lobbying NYS to repave roads they own that are fill of potholes. The road that I think is in the worst shape: Saw Mill River Road (9A) just north of the town between the Apple Motor Inn and Revolutionary Road.

The students have prepared an on line petition encouraging NYS to repave the roads they own. If you agree please sign.

Paved roads pave the way to a better future, fix Greenburgh’s State Roads Today!

by: Riley Wentzler, Eric Cignarella, Franzine Klarsfeld, Ricardo Zamudio, Vishnu Unnithan, and Felicia Barbermore

We, the undersigned, call on New York State to repave the State Roads of Greenburgh. One of the roads that is extremely neglectedand in  urgent need of repairs is Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley. This is a road that is owned by New York State. The stretch of Saw Mill River Road (9A) just north of the town between Apple Motor Inn and Revolutionary Road is a disaster--full of potholes.

NYS roads that are in bad shape create safety risks to drivers, motorcyclists and pedestrians. And leave a poor impression of NYS to those using NYS roads.
