Earlier this summer the Town Board heard a presentation about honeybees. We were asked to change the law to allow beekeeping of honeybees. I asked residents for their input and this is what they had to say. In September the Town Board will discuss a local law that would allow beekeeping. I think that the law should require setbacks and also should require those who want to have beekeeping of honeybees to receive permission from their immediate neighbors. When a proposed local law is drafted it will be posted on the town website. PAUL FEINER
