Student interns interview TONY AWARD winner of Best play OSLO JT Rogers
Release Date: July 06, 2017

Earlier this afternoon the Greenburgh Town Hall 2017 Summer Interns Interviewed J. T. Rogers, “…a multiple award-winning internationally recognized American playwright who lives in Greenburgh.  J.T.  has authored more than five plays including Oslo, Blood and Gifts, The Overwhelming, White People, and Madagascar.  During his interview with the interns, J.T. discusses what motived and inspired his creative works and shares strategies for success in both the world of work and in life.   We will share the interview once the interns complete the editing.

The summer internship program is co-coordinated by Town Supervisor, Paul Feiner and Town Clerk, Judith A. Beville. Our 2017 summer interns (we have over two dozen this summer) are working on a variety of interesting projects and meeting very interesting people.  JT Rogers was the author of OSLO which won a TONY AWARD FOR BEST PLAY!

Earlier this morning town attorney Tim Lewis and I took some of our student interns to a house in Edgemont --we discussed an engineering concern with a resident who had a concern and am confident that we will be able to successfully resolve the issue. We want interns to interact with department heads, employees, residents who have concerns.
