East Hartsdale Ave will see some improvements beginning next week!
Implementation of the East Hartsdale Streetscape Improvement project will begin next week with eight (8) new shade trees to be planted on East Hartsdale Avenue. This work will entail the removal of existing tree stumps, tree pit preparation and tree installation, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 12th and Friday, November 13th.
During the week of November 16th, the small existing pocket park adjacent to and north of the Hartsdale Train Station Building will be upgraded with new porous paver walkways, a Belgian block lined perimeter, a new bike rack, and landscaping improvements.
THE ANNUAL VETERAN’S DAY CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AT DESANTI PARK ACROSS FROM THE HARTSDALE TRAIN STATION ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11 AT 1 PM –ACROSS FROM THE HARTSDALE TRAIN STATION. Next year the park will be enhanced –and become a beautiful Veterans Memorial park.
