GIANT 3 DAY BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Greenburgh Library will hold their annual Book Sale from Saturday September 19 through Monday September 21 at the Greenburgh Public Library, Tarrytown Road (Route 119) in Elmsford.

Thousands of almost-new and out-of-print books, best sellers, classics, biographies, fiction, parenting, cooking, arts & antiques, humor, self-help, religion and much more will be available.  Hard cover and paperback books – all will be sorted for buyers convenience.  There is a large selection of books for children of all ages and new books will be added to the sale daily.

Proceeds from the sale support many Library programs and projects – including Musical Munchkins, Teen Poetry Slam and Senior Medicare Information. Many of the special weekend concerts and one-of-a-kind programs – such as salsa lessons! – as well as weekly knitting and sketching classes are also Friends’ sponsored.

Members of the Friends Preview Sale will be Friday September 18, 3:00pm to 8:00pm.  New members may join at the door that evening.

On Tuesday, September 22 from 10am to 2pm, all nonprofit organizations are invited to send a representative to take any books that might be useful to them.  I.d is required, bring your own boxes.  Call for details.
