Safe Kids Worldwide has appointed the Greenburgh Police Department as the new lead agency for Westchester Safe Kids and Police Officer Peter Dandreano as the new Coordinator. The Greenburgh Police Department will be working with Police Agencies, Fire Departments and Hospitals throught Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties to keep Children safe. In addition to many child safety programs, the Greenburgh Police Department will be hosting it's monthly Car Seat Safety Check event, every first and third Saturday of each month, at the Big Dee Volvo Service Center at 499 Old Tarrytown Rd, White Plains (Greenburgh), NY. It will be located at Big Dee Volvo until March 21, 2015. At the Car Seat Safety Check event, Certified Technicians will inspect your child's car seat for recalls, expiration dates, and make sure it's installed properly. If you are having difficulty installing the seat yourself, our trained technicians will assist you. Parents can come by between 11am-2pm and no appointment is necessary. This service is free of charge and made possible through a grant from the Governors Traffic Safety Committee.
Clocktower Players is a non profit theater group. Their new show is playing at Irvington Town Hall Theater and is getting rave reviews and we want to share it with the community.
