Town Board to discuss creation of Human Rights Liaison committee at work session tomorrow
Release Date: October 06, 2014

The Greenburgh Town Board will discuss the following resolution at tomorrow’s work session creating a local human rights liaison committee to work with the Westchester County Human Rights Commission. This liaison group will not duplicate the county governments commission but will work with the county commission on human rights issues and will help the county commission promote their initiatives in Greenburgh. No additional personnel will be hired by the town.  The Town Board, Town Clerk Judith Beville and I have been meeting with county officials discussing this concept in recent months.
In recent weeks some residents have expressed interest in serving on this  liaison once it is officially formed by the Town Board. If you are interested please e mail townboard@greenburghny.com and attach your bio.
Thanks so much!
