First Seminar: July 29, 5:30 p.m, White Plains
The first seminar will be held Tuesday, July 29 at at 5:30 p.m. at the White Plains Public Library, 100 Martine Ave. It will feature local business owners Jaleene and Jewelle Rodriguez, co-owners of Don Coqui restaurants and Erwin Gilliam, owner of Erwin's Barber Shop. They will share their best tips and strategies on success. |

Second Seminar: Aug. 11, 9:30 a.m., Yonkers
This seminar on Monday, Aug. 11, 9:30 a.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library, 1 Larkin Plaza will feature local business owners Mike Brady, president and CEO of Greyston Bakery, Dorothy Aguiar, owner ofApple Maintenance Services, Inc., and John Rubbo, Nick Califano and Jackie Rubbo, the management team of Yonkers Brewing Company. |
The two events,, are geared toward minority and women entrepreneurs who are looking to contract with government, gain access to low-cost financing or cut their employee training costs in half.
Local business owners and experts will share their best tips and strategies on success.
Business experts will present at both seminars and will include:
