Special thanks to Labriola Landscaping for donating their services to the town. They planted a beautiful red/white/blue display around the flagpole at the Hartsdale train station---in time for the Memorial day parade this Monday . The flowers look very nice – their help is greatly appreciated and this beautification effort is already enhancing the impressions commuters have of Hartsdale when they get off the train!
CONFERENCE ROOM AT GREENBURGH TOWN HALL TO BE NAMED IN HONOR AND IN MEMORY OF STEVE BELASCO
Steve Belasco was Chair (12 years) and former member (5 years) of the Zoning Board of Appeals, a member of the Zoning Ordinance Revision Committee, and a member of the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. The impact of the sudden death of such an active and dedicated member of our land use boards/committees is incomprehensible. Members of the Town Board and I have decided to honor Steve’s contributions to the town by renaming the meeting room in back of the auditorium in honor and in memory of Steve Belasco. It’s our hope that every town official and appointee will be as dedicated to public service and as hard working as he was.
