On Wednesday evening, November 30th members of the Greenburgh Citizens Budget Oversight Commission will present the Town Baord with the results of their year long review of the town budget and town operations. The presentation will take place before the budget hearing and will begin at 7:30 PM. It is anticipated that the presentation and recommendations will take over an hour. Members of the commission, headed by former Poets Corner Civic Association President Alan Hochberg, worked many months on the review. They worked days, evenings, weekends.

The commission members represent different neighborhoods and political philosophies. Many of the members have extensive financial and management backgrounds. Members of the Commission include Victor D. Alleyne, Donald J. Blum, Richard A. Bobbe, Don Cannon, Lloyd R. Cort, Neal O. Cromwell, Nat J. Federici, Mona Fraitag, Michael Goldstein, Glen Gordon, Felice Harris, Howard J. Hirsch, Alan Hochberg, Milton Hoffman, William M. Losapio, John Malone, Daniel R. Martin, Ken Patel, Luis Polit, Lech Poradowski, Tiffany Scott, David S. Seal, Ronald Stytzer, Viola Taliaferrow, Vic Weinstein.

The commission helped me come up with a budget that complies with the new tax cap legislation signed into law by the Governor and approved by the State Legislature. The meeting will be televised on public access TV and will be streamed live on the internet: www.greenburghny.com
