another bridge down...CROSS ROAD BRIDGE

Last night I sent an e mail highlighting the fact that the Fisher Lane bridge was replaced over the weekend. There is another town owned bridge that is down--the Cross Road bridge (near Sprain Road/village of Ardsley). The hurricane and tropical storm caused damage to the bridge and it has been closed pending an inspection to determine its structural integrity. The Commissioner of Public Works is engaging a firm to inspect --to determine the structural integrity. The closed bridge is limiting access to both the town and village of Ardsley.
