CANDIDATES FORUM ON 8/22 AT 7:30 PM (dem primary is September 13)

Following past practice, the Council of Greenburgh Civic Associations (CGCA) will be hosting a candidates' forum for Town-related primaries. The CGCA is an umbrella organization with a membership consisting of approximately 40 individual civic associations in the town, This year the only town primaries are for Democratic Party Town Clerk (1 seat) and Democratic Party Town Justice (3 seats) positions. As in the past, CGCA has reached out to a League of Women Voters member to moderate. The forum will be held on August 22, 2011, at 7:30 PM, at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh (PO White Plains), NY 10607. All candidates certified for the primary election ballot by the Westchester County Board of Elections have been invited and will be made aware of the rules which, if consistent with prior forums, will closely follow LWV forum guidelines.
