TOWN BD WORK SESSION TUESDAY--WESTHELP RENTAL OPTIONS--WEBSITE REDESIGN--STOP & SHOP GROUND BREAKING
Release Date: June 24, 2011

The Town Board will hold our next work session on Tuesday, June 28th at 9:30 AM. Among topics to be discussed: possible revisions to our ethics code, the WESTHELP property (the county is closing down WESTHELP at the end of September---town will lose $1.2 million a year in rent unless we rent the property to another tenant. We have found a possible tenant who is interested in the property. They are requesting access to the facility). Some student interns have been working with Town Clerk Judith Beville, reviewing our current website: www.greenburghny.com. They will be making some recommendations as to how we can make the site more customer friendly. The meeting on Tuesday will be shorter than usual ---there is a ground breaking ceremony for the new STOP & SHOP supermarket that is being built on 119 (next to the Sheraton Hotel on the Greenburgh/Tarrytown border.
