REMINDER: LAST DAY TO PAY TAXES TOMORROW...LAST DAY TO RENEW TAX EXEMPTION APPLICATIONS TOMORROW

TOWN HALL TO BE OPEN TILL 7 PM TOMORROW (May 2)---LAST DAY TO PAY COUNTY, TOWN, FIRE DISTRICT TAXES. You can also pay your tax bill on line: www.greenburghny.com. Or--via credit card. Hat's off to David Dwinell, Receiver of Taxes for his years of service to the town. This will be David's last official tax collection. David is retiring this summer.
The last day for seniors to renew their partial tax exemption applications is also tomorrow. We have called and re-called seniors who have not renewed the applications-trying to remind them. The assessor also sent out reminder notices last month. As of Friday about 200 seniors still have not renewed their exemptions. If they don't renew they could be required to pay a larger tax bill. We will try to reach those who have not completed their applications tomorrow--so they won't lose this benefit.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH MEETING MONDAY NIGHT AT 6:30 pm Secor Park, off of Secor Road. In event of rain meeting will be held at AF Veteran Town Park. Tell us what you like...don't like...about your town government. How can we be more responsive. Will also discuss budget options with residents for 2012.
