Millions of people are revolting in the middle east --fighting for democracy. Here, in the United States, so many eligible voters stay home on election day and don't bother to participate.
On Tuesday most of Greenburgh will have the opportunity to vote for a new County Legislator to replace former Legislator Tom Abinanti (who is now an Assemblyman). It would be sad if only a small percent of eligible voters vote.

Polls are open from 6 AM to 9 PM --at your normal voting location. For information call Town Clerk Judith Beville's office at 993 -1501. Residents who are currently represented in the County Legislature by Alfreda Williams are not eligible to vote in this special election.
