STATEMENT FROM VERIZON RE: RESTORATION OF POWER--SOME CUSTOMERS STILL OUT...

I just received this memo from Verizon.

Verizon has restored hundreds of Westchester residential and business customers in a massive cleanup effort after the historic March 13th rain and wind storm.  As of Thursday, March 25, approximately 150 Verizon customers remain without service in the hard-hit areas.  Verizon has been working in tandem with the power utility, Con Edison, to restore  customers’ service.  As soon as Con Ed has restored electrical power, Verizon sends in crews to restore service to our customers as quickly as possible.  Verizon appreciates the patience of our customers and the work of our dedicated employees.
