SHOULD CYBERMOBILE ACCEPT EXTERIOR ADVERTISEMENTS FROM BUSINESSES, FOUNDATIONS TO PAY FOR SERVICE?
Release Date: January 06, 2008

Should the town accept paid advertisements from the business community and re-paint the the exterior of the cybermobile with ad's? Some businesses may wish to advertise on the exterior of our library on wheels? This could generate revenue for the town and may help keep the cybermobile in operation. Some of the county buses currently have lots of advertising on their exteriors. What do you think? Please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com.
The Town Board did not cut the cybermobile. The appointed Library Board voted to suspend the operations of the cybermobile and to shift funds that were allocated for the cybermobile to other library uses. The Library Board claims that the Town Board does not have the power to specify the use of dollars given to the library.
