Last year I announced that the town would be organizing a 9-11 living history initiative—9/11 Greenburgh stories. . We want to share with residents the stories of local residents who were impacted by 9-11. Our 9-11 committee will be meeting at Greenburgh Town Hall tonight at 7 PM to discuss this exciting initiative and to discuss the future interviews.

The Irvington Historical Society provided me with three tapes recorded on 1/23/2006 by Pat Bonomi. These tapes will now be part of the Greenburgh 9-11 living history collection. We converted the tape into 3 you tube segments. The tapes that you can now view on you tube include interviews with police, fire and ambulance members—first responders during 9-11.
