150 veteran interviews airing on cable tonight to Monday...Joe Lucasey to be honored at veterans day
Release Date: November 09, 2017

150 INTERVIEWS OF VETERANS WHO FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY TO AIR ON CABLE THIS WEEKEND-BEGINNING TONIGHT

In honor of Veterans Day the town will broadcast over 150 half hour interviews  of  Greenburgh veterans (most were heroes who fought in World War II or the Korean Conflict)  beginning tonight at midnight and continuing non stop till Monday morning on Greenburgh local government cable channels Cablevision 76 and Verizon 35.  It’s important to recognize the contributions each of our veterans made to preserve our democracy.  Sadly, some of the veterans who were interviewed a few years ago have passed away. There contributions will never be forgotten. The town has a tradition of airing the living history tapes during both the Memorial Day and Veterans day weekend. Former resident Alan Hochberg and Ardsley resident Steve Wittenberg were responsible for producing the living history initiative.

Joe is also an integral part of our Veteran’s Day Ceremony, and although he has never served in the military he recognizes the deep meaning and value of our military traditions.
