The Greenburgh Town Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, August 2nd at 4 PMto introduce a new proposed local law regarding the GreenburghHealthCenterand health centers in general. The new proposal will include provisions to permit health centers as a specially permitted use in some town commercial districts. The Town Board, if this amendment is approved, will have the ability to review each application and make a determination if the health center is an appropriate use. This proposed amendment will provide additional safeguards for review of these types of applications. A public hearing will be held on August 17th at GreenburghTown Hall. This is an alternative to the original proposal which provides for clinical, medical or dental facilities to be a permitted use as opposed to a specially permitted use. PAUL FEINER
