Spaghetti Fundraiser!
Music / Raffles / Firehouse fun for kids

Ardsley Firehouse, 505 Ashford Avenue
Ardsley Varsity Football Team invites you to a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to benefit Shivonie Hoobraj and Sons. Earlier this September the community became aware that one of the boys of the Ardsley HS Varsity football team has a mom with terminal cancer.

The Ardsley Panther Varsity Football team is rallying behind their teammate and his family and is planning a "spaghetti dinner" Sunday, November 15 at the Ardsley Fire House to inspire support and help raise funds. Our teams and their young members learn life lessons both on and off the field, and this event is a true act of leadership and camaraderie. We hope you and your family will attend and show your support and care in any way you can. You don't have to live in Ardsley to join us at this community event.

MORE ABOUT THE FAMILY....
Early this September, we became aware that one of the boys on the Ardsley HS varsity football team had a mom – Shivonie Hoobraj - with late stage aggressive  cancer.  Upon speaking to her and learning more, we found out she is a single Mom with 2 sons – one in 9th grade, the other one in 11th – battling terminal leukemia.  She has been told that she has 18 months left, and no treatments are working.

One of her sons started a ‘GoFundMe’ for her as they are struggling with enormous medical bills, as you can imagine.  The team and team parents have donated / parents have provided meals for the family, but we wanted to do more so we came up with the idea to do a fundraising spaghetti dinner for Shivonie, scheduled for 11/15 at the Ardsley firehouse.  The team will be planning and participating in the event, as well as other members of the Ardsley HS and beyond community.
