MERCY COLLEGE SWEARS IN NEW PRESIDENT TOMORROW
Release Date: April 16, 2015

Congratulations to Timothy Hall on his swearing in ceremonies tomorrow as President of Mercy College- a college located in the town of Greenburgh.  Mr. Hall will be formally named  as the  12th President of Mercy College.

Mercy College has a great record of producing terrific leaders. The last three Greenburgh Police Chiefs--Chris McNerney, Joe DeCarlo and John Kapica all graduated from Mercy College. My guess is that future Police Chiefs in Greenburgh will also come from the ranks of Mercy!  ...who knows, maybe a future FBI or CIA director will be a Mercy College graduate?  Councilwoman Diana Juettner has been on the faculty of Mercy for many years.

Student success is the  top priority of Mercy.  What makes Mercy College special is the unwavering commitment of the faculty and staff to ensuring our students receive a high-quality, personalized, and challenging education in a vibrant, personalized learning environment.  They have an outstanding record helping graduates find employment after college.

From business and education to the health and natural sciences, liberal arts and behavioral sciences, their world-renowned faculty are experts in their fields and prepare students for rewarding, in-demand careers. Here at the College they offer more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs across five schools.
The main campus is located in our town -in the village of Dobbs Ferry.

Timothy Hill served as President of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville Tennesee prior to moving to Dobbs Ferry. During his years at Austin Peay, both President Barack Obama and Bill Gates praised the University for its innovative use of technology.

Congratulations President Hill. And, best wishes to Mercy for continued successes.
PAUL FEINER
