Some residents who reside on Joyce and surrounding streets contacted me earlier tonight and advised that they experienced a power outage. I am pleased to report that the power has been restored.
I want to express our thanks to Con Ed for giving the power restoration efforts their high priority attention. They responded quickly. And, got the job done. Fortunately, residents did not have to re-live the experiences of a few years ago when power was out for over a week!
In recent months I have been very impressed with how hard Con Ed officials are working --trying to be responsive to complaints. I am in contact with them on a regular basis --most of the concerns forwarded to their attention recently have been acted on in a very positive manner.
