REMINDER--COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS THEIR DRAFT PLAN TUESDAY, APRIL 29 AT 7:30 PM

2ND COMMUNITY MEETING ON REASSESSMENT AT TOWN HALL MAY 6
The draft Comprehensive Plan is a 20 year vision of the future growth in the unincorporated Greenburgh area. In particular, the Plan addresses issues raised by residents including land use, cohesive neighborhoods, open space, recreation, transportation, healthy and sustainable buildings, affordable housing, historic preservation, Town infrastructure, economic development and corridor opportunities related to the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

The draft Plan is now available on the Plan’s website (www.greenburghcomprehensiveplan.com) for your review. I would like to note that each map of the Plan is available as a separate downloadable, high resolution PDF with zoom-in capabilities.
The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee invites all residents of Unincorporated Greenburgh to come and comment on the Plan at one of the four outreach meetings to be held in the Greenburgh Town Hall auditorium.
These meeting dates are Tuesday, April 29th at 7:30pm; Saturday, May 10th at 10:00am; Thursday, May 22nd at 7:30pm and Monday, June 2nd at 7:30pm. The CPSC will also hold a public hearing in the auditorium on Monday, June 16th at 7:30 pm. After each meeting the CPSC will meet to consider all comments for potential incorporation into the Plan.

2ND MEETING ON REASSESSMENT MAY 6

Have any questions about the reassessment process that the Town Board authorized? A second public presentation will take place on May 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Greenburgh Town Hall. We will have a powerpoint presentation with questions and answers. The meeting will not be televised. Our last meeting was televised. If you can't attend our community meetings and have questions feel free to e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. If you would like to invite some neighbors over to your house to discuss the reassessment process or if your neighborhood association would like to schedule a community meeting please advise.
