Mary Slamin, one of the most popular and well known employees in the town of Greenburgh is retiring in January. Mary has been an exceptional children's librarian and a terrific ambassador for the town. Over the years many residents told me that one of the major reasons why they love living in the town is because of Mary --she has a terrific personality, brings out the best in people, motivates children to want to read and learn. She's just a terrific public servant - a role model for every librarian and government employee.. The following article about Mary appeared in todays issue of Greenburgh.dailyvoice.com.
Mary will be missed --she was a great ambassador for the town.
