2 events to look forward to this weekend: dog swim/music festival in hastings
Release Date: September 04, 2012

There's a lot of fun activities to look forward to this fall. Rivertownsguide.com devotes their entire website to a calendar of exciting and fun programs and events that your family will enjoy. They update the calendar frequently.  Two events that I recommend this weekend are the dog swim on Sunday at AF Veteran park and the amazing Take Me to the River Grassroots Music & Arts Festival this Saturday in Hastings.

Over a hundred dogs enjoy the town pool (which is closed to humans).  This is one of the most popular events we sponsor every year. Watch the dogs swim. Watch the expressions of the dog lovers who are proud of their dogs who take the plunge.
The Take Me to the River Grassroots Music and Arts Festival is a blast. Hundreds of families enjoy this well organized event--incredible live music (world class musicians). Check rivertownsguide.com for the lineup of musicians.
