The Greenburgh Town Board is expected to vote on the acquisition of Taxter Ridge this coming Wednesday. The Board will approve $3.7 million dollars to acquire the property (2/3rds of the costs of acquisition will be paid for by the county and state).

On another matter……the Town Board will hold a community meeting with the Library Board to hear 2 different proposals re: redevelopment of the old Town Hall site. One of the proposals is an affordable senior citizen housing complex. The other: assisted living for senior citizens. Meeting: Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 PMat our new town Hall. Meeting open to the public.
