Stay home-many trees and wires down

Spoke to the police chief. Message-stay home. Numerous trees and wires are down. Some trees have fallen on homes-fortunately no injuries. Wait till winds die down. I have been getting a few calls every few minutes from residens reporting downed rees or power outages so I know its bad. I have spoken o the police chief. He advises that you should call the police at 682 5300 to report problems. We are opening up the theodore young community center as a warming center tonight-32 manhaTtan ave. They have showers. Some of the roads that we have closed-stonewall circle...mt joy...columbia...pipeline...cotwold way...longview-evandale to ft hill....scarsdale farm--among others.
