LIBRARY BOARD VACANCY--RESUMES ACCEPTED...MEETING OF TOWN BD/DOBBS FERRY BD TUESDAY...

Resumes will be accepted through Monday, November 30, 2009 The Greenburgh Public Library Board of Trustees is accepting resumes to fill a mid-term vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees. The candidate must be a resident of unincorporated Greenburgh. The term will run through December 31, 2013. The Board of Trustees recently applied for an amendment to the Library's charter to increase the number of Trustees to no less than seven and no more than nine (from no less than five and no more than seven). It is anticipated that the Board of Regents will amend the Library's charter to this affect. If the charter is amended, there will be additional vacancies on the Library Board. The Town of Greenburgh and the Library Board of Trustees will seek to fill these additional seats from the pool of candidates interested in the current vacancy.
