I met with Robert Conca, Commander of Spencer-Kelly Post 267 (Tarrytown) and Patrick Mulholland, Vice Commander of the Post. They both suggested that the town of Greenburgh form a Veterans Advisory Council to advise town officials about veterans issues. Among issues to be discussed are Montrose VA Hospital, food pantry, clothing drives, affordable housing, health care and other forms of assistance veterans may need.

Other municipalities in Westchester already have existing veterans councils which work with other veterans groups. PAUL FEINER
