I am scheduling a meeting on Friday, May 9th at l0 AM at town hall with town officials and some citizens to discuss the need for legislation that will make E Hartsdale an easier place to do business. The closure of IGA and the vacancies on the street highlight the fact that the town must look for additional ways to help businesses. Should our sign laws, for example, be modified? Should we make it easier for restaurants and stores to have sidewalk sales? Is there too much red tape? Meeting will last about an hour and is open to the community.
