GREENBURGH BECOMES ENERGY SMART COMMUNITY

The Greenburgh Town Board approved a resolution becoming an ENERGY SMART COMMUNITY at our last Town Board meeting. This is a follow up action that will enable the town to partner with NYSERDA, Mid Hudson Energy Smart communities, to promote energy efficiency throughout the town.We are now eligible for technical and financial assistance and can be included in demonstration sites for new technologies. Nikki Coddington is the town's part time energy conservation coordinator. She can be reached at 993 l649 on Thursdays and Fridays. According to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner the town will shortly begin an aggressive outreach effort to promote energy conservation throughout the town.
