Andre Early, Commissioner of the Theodore Young Community Center advises that our ongoing partenership with AARP has allowed residents to have their tax returns prepared at the Theodore Young Community Center. The service is free. Since 1968 the AARP has helped millions of low income and moderate income families to prepare their taxes and keep more discretionary income for everyday expenses like food and housing. The AARP tax aide program is the nation's largest free volunteer run tax assistance and preparation service.
Residents are more than welcome to visit the Theodore D. Young Community Center located at 32 Manhattan Ave. on Fridays and Saturdays between the hours of 10:00am-2:00pm. The last day to take advantage of the services will be Friday, April 15th.
