sorry...too good to be true (scholarship info).....link to video --discussion with Town Assessor
Release Date: January 13, 2016
Earlier this morning I shared info I received about scholarship opportunities. A constituent was kind enough to tell me that the info I posted was too good to be true. And, shared with me the following link.

If there are legitimate college scholarship opportunities you learn of, please advise so I can share the info with residents. College costs are excessive and prohibitive for many –and Greenburgh students deserve the opportunity to attend great colleges. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the information I provided earlier.
Yesterday the Town Board discussed the reassessment process taking place around town with our assessor, Edye McCarthy. In March residents will receive preliminary info about their taxes from the company that conducted the reassessment. After you receive the letter in the mail you can do nothing if you agree with the results or schedule a meeting to challenge their findings. The Assessor and I are more than happy to meet with civic associations and residents to discuss in greater detail.
