1316 PEOPLE SIGN PETITION IN 24 HOURS CALLING FOR BAN ON GUN SHOWS AT COUNTY CENTER
At Tuesday's Town Board work session (approximately at 10:15 AM) Elmsford representatives will meet with the Town Board to discuss a proposal to deed a sliver of property that the Town to the Village. The village is reviewing a proposal by the Robert Martin Corporation to develop the former Antun's into a mixed use development (apartments, retail along Valley Avenue and Saw Mill River Parkway. Inasmuch as the property is located within the village - the town has no vote ON whether or not the project is approved.
The town owns some land along Undercliff Avenue. If the town approves the deed request the proposed setback can be setback further away from the Saw Mill Parkway. Supporters of the new development believe that this will make the development safer. The Town Board will discuss the request and compensation for the deed transfer at the work session. Any thoughts?
