COLOR'S AGAINST CANCER RUN BEING ORGANIZED BY TWO EDGEMONT HIGH JUNIORS
Release Date: April 21, 2017

One of the most popular local events each year is the RiverArts studio tours.  It’s taking place tomorrow and Sunday. Visit 80 artists, 5 towns in their homes. See announcement below!

AMANDA FERNANDES AND TWYLA KANOR, JUNIORS AT EDGEMONT HIGH DESERVE OUR THANKS FOR HELPING TO FIND A CURE FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER!

Amanda Fernandes, a junior at Edgemont High and Twyla Kanor, another Junior are organizing this year’s Color’s Against Cancer Run.

Pre-registration has been moved back to May 3rd. If runners pre-register, the ticket is $20 and they are guaranteed a t-shirt.

The website is: https://raceroster.com/events/2017/12249/2017-colors-against-cancer-5k

The Colors Against Cancer run is an event in honor of Taylor Matthews, an Edgemont student who tragically passed away from bone cancer at 16. All of the proceeds go to Taylor's foundation, Tay-Bandz, which aims to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

They would love to see a turn out from all over Greenburgh. People can register for the event on our website: https://raceroster.com/events/2017/12249/2017-colors-against-cancer-5k

Amanda and Twyla deserve our thanks for organizing an event that could help find a cure for pediatric cancer.  The work they are doing to help others should be greatly appreciated by all of us.

Thank you!

PAUL FEINER
