No water on Chelsea and Mayfair...dirty water ABC streets in Edgemont Release Date: April 20, 2017 Early this morning a water main on Mayfair Rd, near Chelsea broke.  The water is off in the area as the repair work continues.   Health Department procedures require the water remain off until the water is tested and deemed safe.  This testing may take upto 24 hours.   We had a water main problem in Edgemont yesterday. I have received some complaints about dirty water. We will have a crew in the area this morning trying to flush the area again. Sorry for the aggravations. Our infrastructure (like the infrastructure around the nation) is old. The town is committed to addressing water related infrastructure issues. Our water district advisory board (made up of citizens)  has been working hard trying to develop a short term and long term plan. PAUL FEINER
