RADER JOE'S TO EXPAND ON CENTRAL AVE...NEW RETAIL OR MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING NEAR BEST BUY APPROVED

Yesterday the Greenburgh Town Board voted to approve the amended site plan application of Hampshire Management, which includes a 4,000 sq. ft. expansion of Trader Joe’s and the addition of a new free standing 6,000 sq. ft. retail or medical office building in the parking lot behind Best Buy. The project includes a new driveway along Dalewood Drive, which will allow for limited vehicular access to and from Central Park Avenue. The project does not include the construction of a driveway at North Washington Avenue. The project initially included an additional 12,900 sq. ft. retail building, which was removed during the review process.

Discussions with the applicant, Police Chief, Commissioner of Planning and members of the Town Board took place at the beginning of the meeting and at the end of the meeting prior to the vote.
