CASE STUDY: Shopping Center saving $55,000+ annually
In Norwalk a shopping center used Connecticut’s C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) loan program to install efficient lighting and a solar array.  The shopping center, which is home to Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bow-Tie Cinemas and several other tenants, was built in the 1970s for industrial uses and renovated for retail in 1999.  C-PACE will help finance $172,000 of the $292,000 project with competitive rates and long repayment options and is now available in Greenburgh.  The project will provide annual energy savings of $55,000.
